In World War One the main way of solving wartime injuries was through amputation and blood transfusions, today devices are much more advanced, allowing thousands of more soldiers to be saved. There are always places for our technology to go, some aspect of medicine can be done more efficiently or more eco-friendly. Technology will always be advancing, looking back in time and at upcoming inventions it is apparent that humans are looking to evolve. The basis for an idea is formed and over generations these ideas become more advanced and more efficient. There is almost always another way of solving a problem. By working together and making ideas public, individual minds are brought together as a whole. It's as if a mind from the past is conferring with the new generation. Past mistakes lead to present day technology, and present day technologies flaws lead to future discoveries. Shortcomings in battlefield medicine have led to technical innovations in the past and will continue to lead to them in the future, boasting soldier moral and military confidence.
"Not numbers or strength bring victory in war; but whichever army goes into battle stronger in soul, their enemies generally cannot withstand them."
~Xenophon
